QUICK ANSWER

How VSTMD handles your data: audience statistics with Google Analytics, no accounts, comments or newsletter, and how to contact us.

What this page covers

This page explains what the VSTMD website (vstmd.com) records when you visit it and what happens if you write to us. The site is run by the VSTMD team, and you can reach us on any privacy question at contact@vstmd.com.

What we record

To learn which pages are useful, we measure audience with Google Analytics. It records things like the pages viewed, the approximate country, the type of device and how you arrived at the site. Google Analytics uses cookies stored in your browser to do this.

The pages are delivered through Cloudflare, which logs technical access data such as your IP address in order to serve and protect the site. Fonts and images come from our own domain.

What we do not do

You can read every page without creating an account, and we do not ask for personal data to do so. There is no newsletter, no comment section and no form on the site. We do not sell personal data. Apart from what Google Analytics stores, the site itself does not save anything in your browser.

Some links on this site lead to partner sites (Civitatis for tours and activities, NordVPN for its VPN service); if you book or buy through them, the site may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. The link carries a marker that tells the partner the visit came from VSTMD. When you click one, the partner may set its own cookies and applies its own privacy policy. We never see your personal or payment data.

Messages you send us

There is no contact form: if you write to contact@vstmd.com, your message arrives in a real inbox that we read ourselves. Messages sent to this address are stored and organised by an automated tool so the team can read them, and are used only to reply to you.

Your rights and choices

You can ask us for access to the messages you sent, ask for a correction, or ask us to delete them, at contact@vstmd.com.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and you can turn off Google Analytics with the browser add-on from Google.
